Calling all YAYsayers

We're very excited here at YAY! LiFE! about a new project we're starting called YAYsayers. It's a project we've been considering for a couple years and as 2016 begins, momentum and inspiration for this compilation of short stories is on the upswing. The theme of the YAYsayers series centers around connectedness, awareness and to show how we're all relatable and remarkable, united by our similarities rather than separated by our differences. We've created a list of 27 questions that apply to everyone no matter our beliefs, culture, color or zip code. Questions that are fun and thoughtful and meant to draw forth the answers and stories that will enlighten, inspire and help us realize to look with our hearts as much as with our eyes.
Here's the process: 1) We have the YAYsayer pick 3 numbers between 1 and 27 representing the numerical list. 2) The YAYsayer answers the 3 questions they've chosen. 3) The YAYsayer stories get shared!

Introducing our first YAYSAYER of 2016!!!!
What's a quality or talent you see in others that you would like for yourself?
The ability to be multitalented such as a musician, a singer and good dancer all in one.
What's something you feel people should do more of?
Say "Thank You".
What's one of your most fond memories as a kid?
Going to Ireland. I like adventuring with my friend's dog, Happy Harry. One evening we walked to the bay of the little town (Kinvara) where we stay when we visit. It was on this super fun old road and lined with really tall hedges and everything, and I hear this kind of creepy hissing. I've heard many stories about fairies and encounters with them so I'm kinda wary to go off the beaten path. So we get to the bay and I hear this hissing again and I'm like, I don't know if I want to go back the same way we came, so I went this whole like perimeter around the shoreline and walked back to our cottage the REALLY long route. But, it was very fun and I enjoyed it cause I got an ice cream and I shared it with Happy Harry. That's probably one of my fondest memories.
If you're interested in being interviewed for our YAYsayers series, we'd love to hear from you. E-mail us through our contact page and we'll get back to you!
